Extron DTP2 R 212 is a next-generation AV receiver that combines receiver and switching functions in one device.
It receives signals from the central system over CATx cable while also supporting a local HDMI source at the display point.
With auto-switching capability, the device can automatically select the active input, simplifying operation in meeting rooms and classrooms.
HDMI 2.0 support with 18Gbps bandwidth enables 4K/60 4:4:4 signal quality for modern AV systems.
Long-distance transmission up to 100m over CATx helps significantly reduce cabling cost compared with traditional HDMI runs.
Compared with previous receiver models, DTP2 R 212 stands out with endpoint switching and local HDMI input support, making it well suited for BYOD applications such as direct laptop connection at the meeting table.
