EW-DX Digital Wireless System
The Sennheiser EW-DX is a professional digital wireless microphone system for auditoriums, houses of worship, live events and broadcast where channel density and reliability matter most.
It operates in region-specific UHF with an 88 MHz switching bandwidth and scales to high channel counts — up to 146 channels in standard 600 kHz spacing or 293 channels in LD mode (300 kHz), with up to 16 channels daisy-chained. Audio uses the SePAC codec at 1.9 ms latency with AES-256 encryption, battery life around 12 hours, and optional Dante for audio over IP. Single or dual-channel rack receivers pair with bodypack and handheld transmitters, all managed through Sennheiser Wireless Systems Manager.
AVSTEK plans frequency coordination across the 88 MHz tuning range, sizes channel counts for the venue, and integrates Dante and Wireless Systems Manager so a large RF estate stays coordinated and monitored. A 2-year warranty supports long-term operation.
