SpeechLine Digital Wireless
Sennheiser SpeechLine Digital Wireless is a digital wireless microphone system purpose-built for speech in classrooms, lecterns, courtrooms and meeting rooms — not music — so its signal chain is tuned for clear intelligible voice.
It operates in the license-free 1.9 GHz DECT band and automatically switches frequency when it detects interference such as a DECT phone. Audio is 24-bit and voice-optimized, protected by AES-256 encryption, with a rack-mount 1U receiver and bodypack, handheld, table-stand or gooseneck transmitters running ~12–15 hours on a rechargeable Li-ion battery. A room can run up to 20 parallel links, expandable via the Multi-room option, all manageable from Sennheiser Control Cockpit.
AVSTEK plans channel counts, antenna placement and network integration — including Dante via the add-on — and ties the system into Control Cockpit so a busy estate stays monitored. The 2-year warranty and license-free band keep operating overhead predictable.
