BIAMP
Desono DXIC4LP
The Biamp Desono DX-IC4LP is a two-way 4.5-inch low-profile in-ceiling loudspeaker for paging, background music and fill where ceiling depth is tight.
A 4.5-inch LF driver and a 0.75-inch compression HF driver give a wide 165° conical coverage pattern with 103 Hz–19.5 kHz response, 91 dB sensitivity and up to 114 dB peak SPL. Selectable 70/100 V transformer taps (down to 3.75 W on 70 V) suit distributed systems, while a shallow 86 mm mounting depth lets it fit plenums that deeper boxes cannot.
AVSTEK uses the 165° coverage figure to space units for even level across paging zones, wires the right transformer tap for the 70/100 V line, and commissions the loudspeakers with the system amplifier and DSP so coverage is uniform and predictable.
