TesiraCONNECT TC5
The Biamp TesiraCONNECT TC-5 is a purpose-built 5-port AVB network switch that gives a Tesira room its own clean, predictable audio fabric instead of borrowing capacity from the corporate switch.
Five RJ-45 ports run at 100 Mbps / 1 Gbps for AVB media streaming, and four of them deliver PoE+ 802.3at Class 4 up to 120 W total to power microphones, amplifiers and control devices. Up to 4 TC-5 units can be daisy-chained for larger systems, and it carries the AVB and Ethernet standards — IEEE 802.1AS, 802.1Qav, 802.1w and more — plus RSTP and fault reporting.
AVSTEK sizes the TC-5 against the room's PoE budget and device count, then commissions it so AVB timing, PoE and media traffic are configured correctly from day one.
