The Extron CA 83T is a column array loudspeaker built for speech intelligibility in acoustically challenging spaces such as houses of worship, atriums and lobbies, where reflections blur ordinary speakers.

Eight 3-inch (76.2 mm) drivers in a 30-inch extruded aluminium enclosure produce a vertically narrow pattern that directs sound toward listeners and away from hard surfaces. It covers 200 Hz to 16 kHz (-3 dB), handles 120 W RMS continuous pink noise, reaches 109 dB maximum SPL at 1 m, and runs at 6.5 ohms direct or on 70 V / 100 V distributed lines.

AVSTEK applies AVIXA coverage practice to place and aim the array, sizes the amplifier and 70/100V tap to the room, and integrates it with DSP and control so levels and zoning behave predictably. A 5-year parts-and-labor warranty supports the long service life.
