SF 228T Plus
The Extron SF 228T Plus is a two-way ceiling tile loudspeaker that drops straight into a standard 2x2 suspended ceiling grid, a fast, clean install for offices, retail and education spaces with modular ceilings.
A coaxial ported design pairs an 8" (203 mm) woofer with a 1.1" (28 mm) silk dome tweeter to cover 47 Hz to 22 kHz, handles 90 W rms continuous pink noise, and runs at 8 ohm direct or on 70/100V taps from 8 W to 64 W. The 2' x 2' (610 x 610 mm) enclosure is UL 2043 plenum rated for use in air-handling ceiling spaces.
AVSTEK plans tile spacing and tap settings for even coverage and matches them to the amplifier line, applying AVIXA coverage practice so background music and paging stay consistent.
