The Extron DTP T DP 4K 230 is a DisplayPort extender that sends a DisplayPort source over a single shielded CATx run to a remote display — a clean solution where a workstation or media player with a DisplayPort output sits away from the screen.
It transmits DisplayPort, audio and control over CATx, reaching 1080p/60 and 2K up to 70 meters (230 feet) and 4K/UHD up to 40 meters (130 feet). It supports up to 4K, including 2560x1600 and 1080p/60 Deep Color, on DisplayPort SST (Single Stream Transport) with bandwidth up to 10.8 Gbps and Deep Color to 12-bit. It embeds analog stereo audio and carries embedded DisplayPort audio over the same link.
AVSTEK pairs it with a compatible DTP receiver, confirms cable type and length, and integrates RS-232 and IR pass-through into room control. The compact low-profile enclosure mounts in a rack, under a table or at a lectern, on local or remote power.
