Confidea WCAP G4 Access Point
Televic Confidea WAP G4 is the wireless access point and built-in engine for the Confidea G4 conference system — the single device that hosts the wireless conference units in a room and ties them into the wider audio infrastructure.
It uses WiFi 5 (5 GHz) connectivity, is powered from a PoE+ switch or power injector to keep cabling simple, and provides Dante digital audio for interfacing with third-party audio systems. WPA2 Enterprise secures the wireless link, and setup and monitoring run from the built-in web-based Confero software. The unit mounts to ceiling, wall or tabletop.
AVSTEK surveys the room for RF coverage, plans PoE+ provisioning and Dante routing into the building audio system, and secures the deployment so the access point integrates cleanly into the wider room.
