CP3
The Crestron CP3 is a rack-mount 3-Series control processor built for AV systems that need plenty of direct device control.
A dual-core 1GHz processor running the 3-Series Control Engine drives three COM ports, eight IR/serial ports, eight isolated relays (1 A, 30 VAC/DC), eight Versiport I/O ports, a Cresnet port and Gigabit Ethernet, with storage expandable up to 1TB. It installs in 1RU (44 × 439 × 157 mm) and runs from a 24VDC supply at 15W.
This processor is discontinued. AVSTEK audits installed CP3 systems and migrates them to a current 4-Series processor such as the CP4N, carrying control logic and field wiring across with minimal disruption.
