DDS 5900 Discussion
The Shure DDS 5900 is a fully digital discussion system built for boardrooms, council chambers and formal meeting halls where structured speaking turns matter. It pairs portable DC 5980 P chairman, delegate and interpreter units with the CU 5905 central unit.
A single CAT5e daisy-chain (the DCS-LAN bus) carries digital audio, data and power, so one system scales to 250 discussion units and 32 interpreter units. A floor channel plus two interpretation channels supports multilingual sessions, all administered from a web interface on a tablet or PC.
AVSTEK plans cable runs, unit placement and language routing as one design, then commissions the system and trains your operators so multi-seat sessions run predictably from day one.
