The Extron IPCP Pro PCS1 xi is a control processor that adds switched AC power management to AV device control, letting a room power equipment on and off and monitor current draw as part of its control logic.

Its switched IEC outlet handles AC loads up to 10 A (1106 W at 120 VAC, 2260 W at 220 VAC) with current sensing across a 0-10 A range at 100 mA resolution, while Gigabit LAN, an RS-232/IR setup port and eBUS device support handle the rest of the room. With 1 GB SDRAM and 8 GB flash it runs Global Configurator and Global Scripter projects, supports IEEE 802.1X, and works with TouchLink Pro touchpanels and button panels.

AVSTEK writes and tests the control and power-sequencing logic, configures network access to IT policy, and racks the metal half-rack 1U unit so equipment powers up and down cleanly and predictably.
