The Lumens MS-EM1 is a multimedia processor designed to be located at the "endpoint," enabling the recording and live streaming of audio and video content directly at the source (e.g., classrooms, conference rooms, small studios). The device allows for the simultaneous capture of multiple signal sources, such as cameras and presentation content, and then encodes and stores or streams the content without the need for a central server.

Thanks to its support for both HDMI and IP protocols (NDI/RTSP), the MS-EM1 can be seamlessly integrated into both traditional AV systems and network-based AV systems. Encoding directly at the endpoint reduces network bandwidth requirements, increases stability, and is suitable for lecture recording, training, internal communications, or blended learning systems.
