The Extron NAV SD 511 is a fiber AV-over-IP scaling decoder that recovers and scales network video at the display, with the reach of fiber for campus and multi-building distribution.
It uses the Extron PURE3 codec and Extron Vector 4K scaling to output up to 4K/60 4:4:4 (HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.3, 18 Gbps) over one LC fiber port, reaching up to 550 m on multimode or up to 10 km on singlemode depending on the version. HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG pass through; a USB Type-C port serves KVM peripherals at USB 2.0 rates up to 480 Mbps; and secure streaming with AES encryption and 802.1X protects the link, with genlock for video walls.
AVSTEK plans the fiber network and NAVigator management, selects the multimode or singlemode version for the distance, and integrates KVM and control. The fanless half-rack unit suits stable 24/7 operation on PoE+ or external DC.
