Nearity A40 is a 24-element beamforming ceiling array microphone for meeting rooms and boardrooms, mounted overhead to keep the table clear while covering the whole space.
It covers an 8 m × 8 m area centred on the unit using 8 deep-sidelobe beams, with sensitivity of -38 dBV/Pa @ 94 dB SPL @ 1 kHz and 63 dB (A-weighted) SNR. AI noise suppression, full-duplex, echo cancellation, AGC, adaptive pickup beams and intelligent mixing clean the signal, and up to 8 units daisy-chain over PoE on UTP CAT6 through dual RJ45 Ethernet ports.
