Large boardrooms and divisible training rooms are where ceiling pickup usually breaks down: voices drop off at the far end of the table, reverberation builds in glass-and-concrete spaces, and visible tabletop microphones clutter the room. The Nearity A50 addresses this with a 91-element MEMS array and deep-sidelobe beamforming that forms up to 12 independent lobes, capturing talkers up to 8 m from the unit while AI noise suppression, echo cancellation and reverberation processing keep speech intelligible.

Specified to AVIXA performance criteria, A50 is positioned and aimed against the actual seating plan rather than dropped in by default, mounted 2.8–4.5 m to the floor, and up to eight units daisy-chain over a single CAT6 PoE run to cover larger or divisible spaces. Because pickup lives in the ceiling, the table stays clear and the room is easier to clean and reconfigure.
