The Biamp Parlé TCM-X is a low-profile AVB Beamtracking ceiling microphone for Tesira conferencing rooms that want clean, hands-free pickup without microphones on the table.
The 150 mm circular ceiling unit uses Beamtracking to follow and mix active talkers automatically, with four 90° zones combining for 360° room coverage. Integrated DSP handles the tracking, audio and control run over AVB on RJ-45, and the microphone draws PoE 802.3at Type 1 Class 3 (15.4 W). A secondary RJ-45 port supports one TCM-XEX, for up to 2 microphones per plenum box.
Because coverage is defined by those four 90° zones, AVSTEK plans ceiling positions for even pickup across the seating, then commissions the TCM-X within the Tesira AVB fabric so microphone, DSP and loudspeakers are tuned as one room.
