The Extron SF 8CT SUB is an in-ceiling subwoofer that adds low-frequency weight to distributed ceiling audio in lobbies, retail, restaurants and presentation spaces, where floor-standing bass is impractical.
Its 8-inch (203 mm) long-throw, moisture-resistant polypropylene cone woofer covers 45 Hz to 300 Hz (-10 dB, half space), handles 100 W RMS continuous pink noise, and reaches 108 dB maximum SPL. An integrated low-pass filter and closed-back enclosure let it pair cleanly with full-range ceiling speakers, on 8 ohms direct or 70 V / 100 V lines.
