SWAMP-24X8
The SWAMP-24X8 is Crestron's Sonnex multiroom audio matrix with built-in amplification, designed to feed background and source audio to separate zones across an office, hospitality or residential building.
It accepts 16 unbalanced stereo RCA inputs, 4 balanced/unbalanced inputs and 8 S/PDIF coax inputs, then routes them to 8 amplified speaker zone outputs plus 2 S/PDIF zone outputs. Sonnex Link runs over CAT5e STP to 200 ft / 61 m, and expands via fiber to 2000 ft / 610 m with S-EXT1-S for large sites.
AVSTEK integrates the 4RU chassis over Ethernet or Cresnet, sets up zones with Sonnex Tools in Crestron Toolbox, and connects remote fault monitoring through Crestron Fusion RV so a distributed audio system stays serviceable building-wide.
